I was meditating on the theme, how to be conquerors, in Romans 8:37-39 and other passages. We learn from Paul four relevant thoughts, namely the 4Ps for victorious Christian living. We are to:
Prevail in prayer to God (2 Corinthians 1:11), that is, to intercede faithfully with our supplication to heaven daily,
Pursue the promise of God (2 Peter 1:4), that is, to read and trust the covenant word as given in the inspired scriptures,
Practice the presence of God (Psalm 139), that is, to know and live each day, conscious of the Lord who is with us,
Proclaim the praise of God (Hebrews 13:15), that is, to sing and worship God daily with our hearts and voices.
May the Lord help us to be effective conquerors for Him despite trying circumstances that it may glorify His name and edify His people.
